RJ’s Family Room – Right out of a Magazine!

Here is RJ’s family room looking into her gorgeous porch.

You enter her family room from the foyer.
It’s looks like it’s from a beautiful magazine photo shoot! It’s stunning from the drapes to the furniture to the beautiful seagrass rug.
Did I mention the accessories!

I gave RJ the mercury glass beehive. It looks so pretty on her side table. The spiral staircase goes to the library. RJ’s husband put it all together and installed it. I love the ironwork on it! It’s such a beautiful look for the room.

The large crown on her coffee table is from Wisteria.
This picture was taken from her library loft. The view is gorgeous!

The drapes are from Ballard Designs.
They are a beautiful brown check fabric.

Don’t you just love her candlesticks.

Here’s a close-up of her family room drapes.
The crowns are from Hobby Lobby!!!

I only wish they had a store in New Jersey.

I’d love to shop there.

I adore the arched bookcase. RJ has the knack for beautiful displays. The egg print is a before picture without the frame. RJ just placed it there until she purchased the frame.

The conservatory is filled with plants.  A cute ‘French bird’ with crown sits on top of a coffee mug.
I love the French pillow on her sofa.  Here you can see a bit of her lovely kitchen.

Here is a close-up of the conservatory.  I love the coffee mug!
Best Friends! The bird is adorable!!!

Still more to come!
Post your notes as RJ will be reading them! Thanks so much.

  1. Son of a gun, is this just too darn beautiful. Wow! I love the color change with the lighter paint gives a more light and airy feeling, which a sunroom should convey. The decorating is exemplary. Spiral staircase, oh, what can I say… gotta have one;o)Impressive and easy living!Carol

  2. Dee you and your readers are just too sweet and generous with your comments. I thank you all so much. The family room is my favorite room in our home because of the library loft above and the sunporch beyond the French doors. It was a fun room to decorate and it is filled with so many gifts from friends like Dee who gave me that awesome mercury glass beehive (one of my most favorite things I've ever gotten). Thank you once again sweet friend. rj
